Your account

Use accurate account information and keep your sign-in secure. You must be at least 13, meet any higher local age requirement, and have permission from a parent or guardian if required to enter this agreement. Do not impersonate others, share accounts without permission, or bypass access controls.

Dog care and shared responsibility

PocketPup helps organize dog care and records. It does not diagnose conditions, prescribe treatment, calculate a safe medication dose, or replace a veterinarian. Follow your veterinarian’s instructions and contact them for medical questions or urgent concerns. Notifications can be delayed or unavailable; keep another plan for time-sensitive care.

Only invite people authorized to see a dog’s records. Owners control Doghouse membership. Check recipient details before sending an invitation or sharing a summary. Each member is responsible for the information they contribute.

Your content

You retain your rights in content you provide. You grant DeviceBytes LLC the limited permission needed to store, process, display and share it as you direct and to operate and protect PocketPup. Only upload content you have the right to use. Optional AI processing requires the separate consent shown in the app.

AI illustrations may not accurately represent your dog and are not identity, breed or health assessments. Do not rely on them for those purposes.

Respectful use

Follow the Community Guidelines. Do not post harassment, threats, hate, sexual exploitation, graphic abuse, illegal content, spam, or someone else’s private information without permission. Do not misuse the app, interfere with its operation or attempt unauthorized access.

We may review reported content, remove content, restrict features or suspend accounts for misuse, security risks or legal reasons. You may report a concern or appeal a moderation decision at contact@devicebytes.com.

Premium closet purchases

Premium closet items are optional, individual digital accessories for use inside PocketPup. Each is a one-time, non-consumable purchase: wearing it does not use it up, and it has no recurring charge. A purchase unlocks the selected accessory, not the other items in its collection. The store shows the applicable price and payment details before you confirm.

An item belongs to the PocketPup account signed in when it is purchased and can be worn by all dogs that account can dress. It does not give another Doghouse member ownership. Other members can see an equipped item while its buyer remains a member and retains access to the purchase. Doghouse membership does not transfer purchases between accounts.

Use Restore purchases in Closet while signed in to the original PocketPup account and the Apple or Google account used for the purchase. Restoration and new purchases require store and account verification; contact contact@devicebytes.com if an item is missing. A refunded or revoked purchase can lose access.

Apple or Google processes store payments. Refund eligibility depends on the relevant store policies and applicable law; these terms do not limit rights that cannot be waived. You can also contact contact@devicebytes.com for help. Deleting your PocketPup account removes its purchase association and does not automatically transfer purchases to a new account or issue a refund.

Availability and changes

Features may change as PocketPup develops. We work to keep the service reliable but cannot promise uninterrupted availability or error-free records. We will communicate material changes affecting your use. No paid subscription is required by the current app; optional closet purchases are described above.

Leaving PocketPup

You can initiate account deletion from Account & privacy → Delete account. Review the consequences for owned Doghouses and save any information you need. Deletion does not remove other people’s independently saved copies. The Privacy Policy explains processing and retention.

Your legal rights

These terms do not exclude rights or protections that cannot be limited under the laws that apply to you. Any limitation on service responsibility applies only to the extent permitted by those laws. Contact DeviceBytes LLC at contact@devicebytes.com to resolve a concern.
