Delete your PocketPup account

Request deletion by email

Email contact@devicebytes.com with the subject “PocketPup account deletion request”. Send it from your account email when possible and include the email address associated with PocketPup. If you used Apple Hide My Email, include the relay address shown in your Apple account settings.

We verify account ownership before processing. If you cannot use that email address, tell us so we can help verify your request. Never send passwords, sign-in codes, payment-card details or identity documents in your initial request.

Email an account deletion request

If an email app does not open, write to contact@devicebytes.com using any email service. Opening this link does not send a request automatically.

Delete from the app

Open Settings → Account & privacy → Delete account and confirm after reviewing the consequences. These controls are also available during onboarding.

What is deleted

Deletion removes your account profile, associated uploads, social posts and connections, care contributions and purchase associations. Doghouses you own and their dog-care records are deleted, and their members lose access. Your membership and personal contributions in someone else’s Doghouse are removed without deleting that owner’s Doghouse.

Save records you want to keep before confirming. Deletion does not automatically refund purchases, transfer them to a new account or erase Apple’s or Google’s transaction records. Copies independently saved by other people are outside our control.

Timing and retained records

After ownership is verified and the deletion request is accepted, the expected completion window is 7 days. We send confirmation when processing finishes and will explain any delay.

Limited request records, security records or information required by law may remain only as needed for that purpose. Backups and cached files can remain until their retention or cache period ends. See our Privacy Policy for provider processing and retention details.
